So, the scheduled marathon training began today- guess what also began today.... A giant ice storm.
Kim and I started the evening negotiating around a huge fallen tree, discovering the roads are less icy than the sidewalk, and getting our feet wet in the rivers and gully that were once sidewalks and gutters. We were unable to run the entire time but atleast got out there and wracked up the suggested 2 miles.

Ever since you bought your new running shoes after you had your first babe, I knew you would go on to do bigger and better things than a BYU step class. Nice ice storm too. Glad we are close enough to share weather, right?
I like how you say you "wracked" up the miles, instead of "racked," as though they were tortured out of you. :-P
