Monday Nights

So our Family Home evenings are sometimes lacking or forgotten about but here are two I really loved this summer.
The Brother of Jared boat ride.
Glow in the Dark nail polish, a few rocks, and Anderson Ferry.
Tell the story of the barges and the finger of the Lord touching the rocks, make the rocks, and head out to your local ferry. What's that... No ferry you say... If you are lacking the ferry, the rocks took up a lot of time and could have easily been the main event.
Fort Building with the foolish man
Caitlin is learning and has pretty much mastered "the wise man built his house..." song (every once again the rain never stops tumbling down or the wise man forgets and uses the sand but it's okay). So we sang this song and built forts with blankets and chairs and pillows. Moms ability ranks there with the foolish man's but Dad's stayed up for days.
Service With a Smile
Super Easy
Find a friend, find a need, put them together and viola! Caitlin played with the boys Audge was sleeping comfortable, David mowed the grass, and I washed a few plates.
Our Garden
Sing "The prophet said to plant..."
transplant your plants
read Alma talking about a seed of faith
spend the rest of the evening outside playing
There were a few more than four Mondays this Summer and we did have a FEW more family nights these are a mere smattering to let you know that I love the scriptures, they are true, and I hope my little ones learn to love and grow from me and David and our love for the Lord.
