Caitlin and Audge

Well, I usually hunt and peck while typing- I am now doing that with one hand.
So, Audge doesn't talk much yet. We encourage her vocalization by having her repeat us. Like this:
We'll see a dog
Me: "Audge say dog"
Audge: "uff uff"
Me: "say DOOOG"
Audge: "daaaaaaa-oooooog"
And then the praise comes flowing

Caitlin has caught on to this parrot like attribute of Audge....
Caitlin: "Audge, can I have the Barbie? (the one you have not let out of you grubby paws for about 46 hours) "
Audge: clutches tighter to the doll and backs away
C: "say yes"
A: "yes"
C: proceeds to take Barbie
A: wailing and gnashing of teeth
Me: "Caitlin STOP!"
C: "But mom, Audge said I could have it"
Me: "Just give it back, please"
C: "FINE!" throws Barbie
