On Tuesday at about 6:20 my water broke. It was on of the most disgusting feelings ever. No steady contractions yet. At 8 we were admitted to the hospital. The contractions were about 3 minutes apart. I was getting an epidural during transition contractions. At about 9:15 Olivia was born. The doctor hustled in at 9:20.
We had a little scare at first- no cry! Her placenta was starting to fail during labor and she was unable to get rid of CO2 buildup in her body. The doctors and nurses quickly pinked her up, got a cry out, and brought her to special care for observation. She's home and healthy now.
We're doing well over here. Ohio Grandma is taking care of the girls and the house while we recover even more.
