School Days!

Caitlin started school this week and LOVES it! Except I am not always sure what she loves about it because she says "I forgot everything that happened today" at every pick-up. I then spend about 20 minutes redirecting questions. I know that she built with wooden blocks and a teacher blows a whistle at the end of recess. I also know that 2 kids (a boy and a girl) have had birthday celebrations already- chocolate cupcakes and chocolate donuts were shared. She has told me that her two friends are both named Aleia- I know this is not true. Aleia is that name that she gives ALL her dolls and babies.
The drop-off is kind of crazy. Cars everywhere! We have to sign the kids in and out each day. And it is at 8:55 am. We have not left the house that early... maybe EVER! Pick-up is a little less crazy because it is only the Preschool kids. It will get even less crazy as we get into the swing of things. Yesterday at pick-up I saw one mom with the outline of Ohio tattooed on her calf. How much would you have to LOVE Ohio to get it tattooed on your leg? Perhaps a better question would be, How drunk do you have to be to get Ohio tattooed on your leg?
Today I am thankful for child-locks on our car doors. Silly, Precious Audge! She just loves her Caitlin so much. She unbuckled her carseat and attempted to jump out of the car and go with Caitlin. I pulled into the closest parking spot and strapped down a very angry Audge. She was basically moody until we picked Caitlin back up THREE HOURS later.
The triple threat showed off true to photographic form on this joyous day. Out of all the pictures I think one is usable. All are awesome! At top are a few randomly selected ones.

In answer to the tattoo, it was my experience in Columbus that you just had to be from Ohio and suddenly a great many moronic things were legitimized. Poor Ohio...
