We had pancakes and syrup and canned peaches and milk for breakfast. The Audge wore all of the above on her naked and just bathed last night stomach. Time for another bath. Caitlin could use a good scrubbing as well.
Run the bath, get children one and two in the bath, and scrub and shampoo both. Let them play for a bit while I attempt to wash number three in the sink.
Just as I get together the washcloth, baby wash, and towel- Number two goes number two in the tub. Gross. But unfortunately not all that uncommon for Audge.
Number three's bath is postponed. She is laid back in her bed for safe keeping.
It is time to remove number one, number two, and number two from the tub. Scrub, scrub, scrub! (The tub- that is)
Caitlin refuses to bath with Audge again. Could ya blame her?
Scrub her down for probably the third time in less than 24 hours. A quick yet comprehensive scrub this time. Audge's turn next. Equally as thorough. They are shipped downstairs with oversized towels and an almost empty bottle of baby lotion. (I try to give them almost empty things as often as possible- Could you image what could be down with a full bottle of lotion, or powder, of shampoo? I learn from my past experiences.)
Olivia is asleep! Yes, I can now get clean. Pop in Peter Pan for the older 2 (still lotioning themselves... in between toes for Audge and inside the ears for Caitlin currently) and start running my water. Covet Katy's candy corn trick or treat bag (via a lemon squeezy home blog- I'm still clueless about creating active links on blogger) and contemplate making it... times 3?... we'll see. Lather, rinse, repeat. All clean.
Olivia decides she's hungry... or maybe she just blew out her diaper... or both... Yep, it was both. Thank you number three for getting that out of your system (quite literally) before bathtime. Clean and feed her. Spits up in my hair... Gross. Bummer as well, I had expected this wash to last atleast a day or two. Toss my hair in the typical ponytail (just like yesterday and the day before, and the day before that, ad infinatum) because I'm out of "me" time. It is time for lunch and the downstairs natives are getting restless and Capn Hook is being chased by the crocodile and that bottle of lotion is gone.

I love, LOVE hearing your mom adventures. I applaud your ability to share your realities. Love You!
I relate! My big thing is having to change shirts every few hours. :-D
My number 2 had a number 2 explosion in the tub last week also! It made her cry and Matyas was freaking out. Of course I was on the phone at the same time with some random caller (in the bathroom w/them). To add to all of it I was hosting my first party at our new house in 30 minutes. Oh what an adventure! Gotta love a healthy dose of motherhood.
