This weekend I got rid of a bunch of stuff we had not used in a couple of years. The house was cleaned out from top to bottom, items were marked, signs were hung and we were blessed by hot but not quite as humid sunny weather.
At the end of the sale I had: a tomato like face, an emptier less cluttered house, a trip or 2 to GoodWill, and about $25.00.
My goal was $1. I set it about an hour into the sale when no one had come. With goal reached, we took that money and spent some on an ice cream treat. It turned out to be a successful day.

I totally like the way you spent your profit. :D I'm totally chicken about doing a garage sale. Not sure why. So . . . good job! Someday I'll be as cool as you. haha Maybe.
