names

Thought I'd throw this out to the blogging void.
A girl can't very well be named Henry David (the winner of our "what should we call this baby" debate) so we need a name.
Here is what we are avoiding: Any names that begin with a letter already used in our family (A, C, D, and E are out), Names with invented spelling or invented names (Nevaeh is out- Yes, I know it is heaven backwards- that is why it is out), Ambiguous gender names (Morgan, Taylor, etc. are out), Girl names that get truncated to boy names (Samantha is out), Names that require the child to exude something (Charity, Grace, Hope, Joy etc. are out), Hyphenated names are out!!!
Here is what we like: Traditional English or English sounding names that may or may not have fallen out of mainstream popularity, Names that fit well with Caitlin and Audrey
What we ask of you: Please give us your suggestions (David and I will chew on the options and in the end of September or maybe a bit sooner- we will announce the baby name), Extra credit for a first and middle name that flow well together
Our last name is kind of a mouthful so keep in mind the name has to fit with Burgstrom. We didn't do so well remembering this with Audge... Audrey Elizabeth Burgstrom (24 letters... Ouch)
Thanks

haha I love your list of name options that are NOT options. :) I'm so with you on the made up names and both-gender names. They've used Samantha on a boy? That's ridiculous. I tend to like old-fashioned names I guess. Here are some that I won't ever get to use: Hazel, Irene, Ruby. I'd suggest Eleanor (Kate's middle), but you said no E's so . . . I also like Olivia and recently I've begun diggin' Lorraine. Have fun picking!

I think that you should pick a name that begins with the letter B, and then you would have covered the first five letters of the alphabet. I will think about it.

Rachael: If we went with Hazel- I'd want her to have hazel eyes and that doesn't come along until week 6. Irene and Ruby have been vetoed. Olivia is in the running still.
Laurie: Originally we thought that would be fun. But then we only came up with bad "B" names like Bertha Burgstrom and if we had another one we would be on letter "F"... Ouch. Brooke is in the running though.
Megan: We must be on the same wave because both of those are on our list.
Kelleys: No to Mike. Worried about Zoe because not everyone can read it. They say Zo a lot. Lizzie is out because it is a shortened for of Elizabeth my sister's name and Audrey's name. Sophia's out because it's a family name as well. Leah is in the running. Way to go James!

What about Beverley?

I've always liked Brianna for a girls name. It starts with B. And you could combine with your buddie's suggestion...Brianna Lorraine Burgstrom. I also like Katherine if you're doing an old classic that is still in. However, I've noticed all my suggestions are annoyingly long...o'well...i think they're still all just as awesome!

I love Lily!
I have also considered using Beverly, but mainly because I miss living in Beverly Hills. It would be weird to name a girl that and then if we moved back to Beverly Hills and she went to elementary school at Beverly she would be like Uncle Troy at Troy High School. Knowing my luck we would live on Beverly Road too.
Good luck! I hate picking out names!
