Date Night with the CSO at the beautiful music hall. David took me to see the Messiah. It was a good way the get Christ in Christmas this year. It's been a little "bah-humbug" and a lot behind schedule this year.
I pretty much hacked up one quarter of my lung before intermission but then we got some cough drops and the lung remained intact.
3 of 4 stockings are completed. Audrey's is in the queue. I just have to quilt both sides and bind it by the 24th... (That's part of the behind schedule noted above)
It snowed here. A lot of our neighbors and pals made snowmen- we did not. BRRR
I love how snow looks but I wish it were warm... Wouldn't that be awesome.
Had my first experience with Hawaiian Haystacks- which oddly and luckily (can you imaging having to eat hay?) enough are neither Hawaiian or hay- and it went well. I had avoided them all through my dining hall days. But they really are palatable.
Audrey Dear now has the black lung cough that Caitlin and I can't shake. Poor baby. Guess we'll wish for a happy and healthy new year.
In the new year I would like to decorate at least one room in my house. We went to dinner at a friend's place (yup, Hawaiian Haystacks) and she had actually decorated. Pictures on the walls, Paint that wasn't beige, and furniture arranged. I thought, I should do that.
